We arrived at the beach on Sat. afternoon. Alex enjoyed skim boarding and playing in the water until Tues. afternoon when he fell skim boarding. Jeff took him to a "stand-alone" ER and they gave him a splint. They didn't have casting stuff. So he got pity from the girls at the beach. He came home Sat. and on Mon. Jeff took him to get his cast. He will wear it for 2 weeks and then go back to a splint. Unfortunately, he will miss river rafting here but will hopefully be able to go in Wy and ride 4 wheelers carefully. Least it's not the whole summer.

Happy Happy Birthday Hunter!
Happy Birthday Hunter! I remember back at his birth . . . It was Memorial Weekend and I had to go to the hospital and have my contractions stopped. I was there 2-3 days on magnesium. He wasn't due until July 4th. They sent me home with a pill I had to take every 4 hours so that I wouldn't go into labor. I took my last pill on June 11th. That Mon. I went to Target with Brooke and got some things we needed "nesting" and on the way home I was feeling contractions. We got up to the hospital, broke my water and delivered him within 2 hours after arriving. He could not wait to get into this world. He is a joy to have in our family. I can't believe that he is 9. Time goes by so fast.

Garden Update
Okay, I have been checking our garden every couple of days. Wow, these veggies are growing fast. The first thing I picked was a green pepper. It was yummy in dinner the other night. I went back today and had all these to pick. 2 of the zuchinni are 9 inches long. Can't wait to eat them.

Jeff and the rest of his family went to Wichita, KS for his little bro's graduation from college. They all had a great time together.
