Hard time picking 1 or 2 pictures

How cute!

Kate's first play date!

Sarah Jane had Kate over Weds. for play time. They helped to make peanut butter cookies, pine cone feeders and played outside. Aren't they so cute. They had a nice time.

Too cute!

She was too cute. I had to take lots of pictures.

Kate at the Park

Everyday Kate and I must go and feed the ducks. When we are done she likes to play on the toys. She is getting so brave. She will now climb up on anything but the stairs. What a monkey!

Boating Season!

The kids were so exited to be able to go boating again! It was Kate's first time so I had to ride on the tube with her. She wasn't sure about it. The kids love going and could do it all day

Mushroom Smothered Beef

I made this tonight for dinner. It was so good! So I thought I would share the recipe with you.
Mushroom Smothered Beef

1/2 lb. fresh white mushrooms, sliced
1 med. onion, sliced
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. beef broth or chicken broth
2 T. Worcestershire sauce, divided
1 (4oz.) can diced green chilies
2 1/2 lb. beef chuch or rib roast, sliced into 1 1/2in cubes
3 T. flour
I used a Pork roast and it was very good. Combine mushrooms and onions in bottom of crock pot. Whisk together undiluted soup with the broth, 1 T. of the worcestershire sauce and chilies. Pour half of soup mixture over mushrooms and onions. Place meat on top of mushroom mixture. Pour remaining soup mixture on top. Do not mix. Cover and cook on low 8 hours. Increase heat setting to high. Mix remaining worcestershire sauce with flour and several spoonfuls of the liquid from the crock pot until smooth. Stir the flour mixture into the sauce in the slow cooker. cover and cook on high for 30 minutes. Serve over rice. Recipe from Home Folks' Old-Fashioned Slow-Cooker recipes.

Braves Game

I know, nice picture. I tried to take a picture of us at the game. Thanks to Harry Schaefer, Jeff and I went to see the Braves game Sat. night. Harry and Jen went to see Huey Lewis and the News and they weren't able to use the tickets. We had a great time. I think this was my second time ever going to a game. Jeff and Alex go often. I think I would like to go more. We enjoyed our night. Thanks Harry!!

Brooke - Fun Run at School

A before and after picture of Brooke. We got up quite early. She did a good job. I told Shondra next year we need to try the 5k.
