Hunter's Annual Thanksgiving Feast
Every year as far back I can remember my Mom and I have the opportunity to eat at school for a Thanksgiving Feast. It started with Alex and now Hunter is the only one left at Huddleston. We made the mistake of eating the actual food one time. We brought other lunches since then. Fun time!
Kate's First Thanksgiving Feast
My Mom and I got to go to Kate's Thanksgiving Feast. They are such cute kids. It was fun to be a part of it. Next, Hunter's Feast
Brooke is 12!
I can't believe Brooke is 12. She was so excited today to go into Young Women's. She said, "No offense Mom but Young Women's is much better." Little does she realize we have to teach children with a wide range of age. I know she will grow so much spiritually. She got some fun gifts.

Time for Carving!
The kids always have a great time carving their pumpkins. Brooke - Jonas, Alex- Jester, Hunter - bats, and Kate had doggie faces all around hers.
Dollywood in the Fall!
In October Dollywood is usually very nice and beautiful. It was quite chilly and rainy but we had a great time. We got to go on all the rides a ton. We love going and can't wait to go back for Spring Break.
Kate's Pumpkin Patch day
She and her class got to play a couple of games, listen to a story and pick a pumpkin. She loved it.

I made this for dinner and this for dessert!
I made this yummy parmesan chicken. It was a recipe from Family Circle. So easy and really good tasting. I got this dessert recipe from my little Kroger coupon booklet that came in the mail last week. Yummy! Both were really easy to make.
Water-Skiing kids
Hunter attempting to water ski, he is getting the hang of it. Brooke stayed up for a while and so did Alex. Alex did take some good falls.

What? Grandpa let you drive his Corvette?
Grandpa was very brave in letting Alex drive his Corvette. He enjoyed driving around. Grandpa was actually the first brave one to let Alex drive. He drove his van. He is getting better each time.
Happy 15th Alex!
Alex turned 15 on Aug. 13th and that means 2 things - He now can drive the golf cart on his own and he gets a permit. He takes the golf cart to seminary and to school. He loves his freedom. He has also driven the car a few times. That will take lots of practice.
First day back to School
Alex, Brooke and Hunter went back to school on Aug. 10th. Kate went to her first day of school on Aug. 24th. I think the kids are liking school. Kate loves hers and asks everyday if she is going to school. She goes 2 days a week.

Alex - No more fun
We arrived at the beach on Sat. afternoon. Alex enjoyed skim boarding and playing in the water until Tues. afternoon when he fell skim boarding. Jeff took him to a "stand-alone" ER and they gave him a splint. They didn't have casting stuff. So he got pity from the girls at the beach. He came home Sat. and on Mon. Jeff took him to get his cast. He will wear it for 2 weeks and then go back to a splint. Unfortunately, he will miss river rafting here but will hopefully be able to go in Wy and ride 4 wheelers carefully. Least it's not the whole summer.
