Been Tagged!

I am....... Shay, mom, babe
I want........ to be a better mom and wife
I have....... a great family
I wish........ I were on a cruise right now
I hate........ when people aren't real, put on act
I fear.......... nothing off hand, lame I know
I hear........... actually, nothing, the kids all just left for school and Kate's sleeping
I search.......... the internet for fun blogs and craft ideas
I always......... tuck Hunter into bed and put Kate to bed. She won't let anyone else do it.
I usually......... am trying to figure out dinner 2 hours before it's time to eat.
I am not.......... asleep, I need to go back to bed while Kate sleeps.
I miss............ the cool fall weather and going to Dollywood to see the changing of the leaves
I love......... the funny things Kate does, my family,
I never........... buy things for myself, it's always for the KIDS
I rarely........ drink water, I am terribly addicted to Diet Coke
I cry............ more now than I use to. Loved Conference - it made me cry
I am not always........ on the computer, only half the time
I lose........... my mind
I am confused......... about why we have 2 terrible running mates for President
I need.............. to exercise and tone up
I should........... clean my house today
I dream.......... no, I have night terrors. I dream I would dream.

Thanks Jaimee, this was hard!

"Come what may and love it"

When you don't think General Conference could get any better it does. I have been listening to Saturday's session. I thoroughly enjoyed Joseph B. Wirthlin. He talked on despair, adversity and how to deal with it. One thing that touched me the most was to "laugh". I find myself getting upset at drivers and dumb things - he said laugh. He gave great examples of times when his family could have been very upset but instead they laughed. His mother always said to him during times of adversity "Come what may and love it". Wow! He is a great speaker.

"Live For Today"

I always look forward to listening to President Monson speak. He said, "Live for today". Sometimes I find myself looking too far ahead and forget what is happening today. I need to cherish what my children are doing now because before to long, they are gone and don't need me anymore. One example, is Hunter. Everynight I am to tuck him in bed. Sometimes, I do this grudgingly because I too may already be in bed, or I have already been up the stairs a ton of times and don't want to go up again. But, I go. I need to cherish this time because, one day, Hunter isn't going to want me to tuck him in. So today I am challenging myself and the rest of you to "Live for Today" and be grateful for what we have now.

What color Umbrella are you?

What Your Brown Umbrella Says About You

When faced with adversity, you rush to fix things right away. You don't like discomfort or conflict in your life, and you are always looking to restore balance.
You live a serene, cozy life. You choose stability over excitement, and you're the better for it.You are very together and down to earth. Not a lot phases you.
On a rainy day: you should stay home - there's no better place to be

Look how fun

I made Kate a small flannel board to take to church or out to eat. I used my sizzix die cuts. I thought it was a cute idea. I found the small flannel board idea on someone's blog and then thought how cute it would be to use my die cuts. Kate likes it!

Dad's 65th Birthday!

Today is my Dad's 65th Birthday! I think he enjoyed his birthday. We had all the grandchildren write up a total of 65 reasons why they love their Grandpa. Then the 4 of us girls wrote up a total of 65 reasons why we love our Dad and we posted them all throughout his house. So when he came home from work lastnight he found the posts. He is still finding them. I love my Dad and am very thankful for him!

Breaking Dawn

So Shondra, Mom, McKenna, Brooke, Kaya and I went to Books a Million on Fri. to get the new Stephenie Meyer Book "Breaking Dawn". I forgot my camera. I will have to get some pictures from Shondra. I was told that I was in the loser line because I kept forgetting to get my voucher. So I had to wait until 12:25 a.m. to receive my book. I started it Sat. morning and finished it Sun. evening. I loved it. I won't tell anything about it. It was great! I loved it. I love Edward. and Bella has gained my respect back. I also like Jacob again.

My mom got Kate these flip flops for next year because they are so big. However, she won't take them off. She loves the butterfly on them. She walks around in them carrying her purse. So big!!
